March is here and the Hellebores have been working to break through the snow. These evergreen plants are one of my favorites because they bloom very early, often through the snow. The blooms are quite spectacular after a dreary winter. I took these pictures in the garden today, March 8th.

Happy fall! Fall is a great time to think about updating your landscape. Installing in the fall leads to great color in the spring.
